Disc golf: Here are 10 courses where you can play Frisbee golf on the Treasure Coast
Disc golf is just like regular golf, except for one crucial aspect — instead of hitting balls with clubs, players toss various-sized discs at baskets, or “holes.”
The Treasure Coast has 10 public courses: seven in St. Lucie County, two in Indian River County and one in Martin County. Each is different, according to the Professional Disc Golf Association, but all of them require players to bring their own discs.
Disc golf is like Frolf, or Frisbee golf, only because they’re both played with discs. Unlike disc golf, Frolf is a freeform game that can be played anywhere.
In celebration of National Disc Golf Day, which falls on the first Saturday of August, here’s where to play disc golf locally.
