*Spoilers for Netflix's Wednesday ahead!*

There's no denying it, Netflix's Wednesday is a smash hit. Just a week after its release, the eight-episode series broke the streaming service's record with 341 million hours viewed, breaking the record for most hours viewed in a week for any English-language TV series. As the show continues to dominate on social media, tons of fan theories have emerged about what the show's follow-up season will be about.

The series ended with a shocking cliffhanger after Tyler morphed into the Hyde while restrained in an armored vehicle. Wednesday's bestie Enid taps into her complete werewolf form, and Wednesday's crush Xavier gifts her a phone, where she receives a strange message from someone assumed to be a stalker.

One of the most significant theories surrounding the end of season one stems from the tragic death of Nevermore Academy principal Larissa Weems, and the spoiler comes courtesy of actress Gwendoline Christie, who stars as Weems in the supernatural series.

Christie teased the possibility of returning to the series during a November interview with Digital Spy. "We haven't seen her put in the ground, have we," Christie asked. "I feel like Larissa Weems would not really be prepared to entertain or be dominated by anything as commonplace as death."

Along with dishing out what many fans believe is a spoiler for the upcoming season, Christie also discussed how Principal Weems adapted to her role at Nevermore Academy and how it may have led to her apparent death on the series."I think that Larissa is doing her best to be embracing of the world as a whole. I think she's taken that chance, and it's unfortunate that it has ended up leading to her demise," she told Digital Spy. "But I feel like she thinks it's better to take the chance than not to take the chance. I think she feels that taking a stab at an idealistic world is better than existing in isolation."

She also discussed her character's passion for uniting the natural and supernatural students at Nevermore. "I think she's also intelligent enough to know that she wants to develop a harmonious relationship between the outcasts at Nevermore and the normies because she understands that she wants the community to be integrated."

Netflix has yet to confirm if Wednesday will be back for season two, but if Christie's teaser is any indication, viewers should definitely add her to the top of the possible list of stalker suspects.
