Is that a diamond ring? Hailey Baldwin flashes bling out with Justin Bieber
Are Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin the next Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson?
The 21-year-old model stepped out in New York City with the “Sorry” singer — and a diamond ring on that finger — after it was reported they were hooking up again. (Given Ari’s news this week, we won’t put anything past young Hollywood.) But don’t get too ahead of yourself. Baldwin’s bling is simply a nice accessory.
“They’re hanging out again, but it’s early,” a source close to Bieber tells Yahoo Entertainment. “Who knows what will happen, but things aren’t serious right now.”
The insider notes they “have a lot in common,” particularly their faith. “They are both very involved in their [Hillsong] church group,” says the source.
Bieber, 24, and Baldwin sparked romance rumors (again) after they looked cozy in Miami. They were in town for the VOUS Church Conference but were inseparable all weekend — they were spotted at the club, catching a movie, and having dinner together. Their hangout sessions have continued this week in New York City, where they have been attached at the hip.
The pair first started hooking up in 2015, and they ended things not so amicably at some point in early 2016. Bieber and Baldwin never appeared too serious, but it was serious enough to make things awkward when they went their separate ways.
“Justin and I were friends for a long time,” Baldwin recently told the Times. “I met him when I was really young and he was one of my best friends. Everybody knows that at a certain point in time that turned into something else, but that just happens when you’re 18, 19.”
She continued, “It was what it was. We went through a long period of time when we weren’t friends. We didn’t speak for quite some time and there was a lot of weirdness that went on. We’ve moved past that.”
Baldwin was last linked to Shawn Mendes, whom she attended the Met Gala with in May. “We hang out and he’s super-lovely and a very, very nice young gentleman,” Baldwin told the Times a few weeks ago. “But I am single.”
Maybe not for long.
As for Bieber, he and Selena Gomez ended things in March after getting back together for the hundredth time. Their next church gathering in L.A. should be interesting, as Gomez is very involved in Hillsong too.
