We all know that Oscar winner and producer extraordinaire Reese Witherspoon and her daughter Ava Phillippe look, well, similar obviously. How-ev-er! Every once in a while, an image of these two pops up on our Insta feeds and we collectively spiral because they look like actual IRL twins. I'm happy to report that today is one of those days. Reese posted a pic with Ava near a truly stunning beach and captioned it, “Love sharing sunsets with my girl *esp when she fixes my makeup.”

In the first photo, the two are simply posing during a peak golden hour sunset, and in the second Ava is fixing her mother's cheek makeup in a tender and #candid moment. See the photos below and try NOT to think about that meme of Spidermen pointing at each other:

The Hello Sunshine founder's post racked up nearly a cool million Likes and drew comments from many many celebs, including Ava's father Ryan Phillippe, Ava DuVernay, Selma Blair, and Octavia Spencer—all of whom showed their love for the mother-daughter duo.

Reese, who has three children (two with ex Ryan and one with her husband Jim Troth), recently spoke with Gayle King for InStyle about raising her kids in the spotlight—an experience she herself didn't have growing up.

“It's an odd situation because I didn't grow up famous,” she said. “So [Ava is] living an experience that I did not have and so are my sons. We are lucky enough to have friends who grew up in Hollywood and can help give them advice on how to navigate. Ava is so down-to-earth. She wants to do great things in the world. She's studying and learning and trying to find herself. It's a big thing in life to try different things and figure out what is really your path.”

She also dished on how much she loves getting mistaken for Ava. “Well, I love being mistaken for her because it makes me feel so young...I'm so proud of her. She really rolls with it. I'm sure it's not easy looking exactly like your mother.” Highly unlikely when your mother is Reese Witherspoon, if you ask me!
