All the Details on Mandy Moore's Gorgeous Wedding Makeup

Mandy Moore's hair stylist and makeup artist share behind-the-scenes information and tips about the actress's wedding hair and makeup.

Mandy Moore's surprise backyard wedding to Taylor Goldsmith over the weekend had an ethereal quality—from the dreamy pink tulle gown by Rodarte to the fresh, glowy makeup and the sweet veil.

Glamour got details from Moore's longtime glam squad (and dear friends), makeup artist Jenn Streicher and hairstylist and Garnier brand stylist Ashley Streicher, about how they created the looks for the actress's special day.

For the pink-tinged makeup look that walked that perfect line between sweet and saccharine, Jenn said the theme started with the dress. "I wanted the makeup to be timeless and her to literally look like a blushing bride," she explained. "We (Mandy, my sister and myself) had been obsessing over this Tom Ford single eyeshadow called Fuchsia Foil and thought this was the perfect time to use it. I applied it very sparingly with my finger and loved how it left just a bit of shimmer on the eye." The trick to pulling off pink eyes, Jenn says, is to use it "very sparingly," adding that she loves it particularly on green or hazel eyes.

As for the rest of Moore's flushed bridal look? Jenn used an Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Luminous Flush "generously" on her cheeks and a Dior Lip Glow in Matte Raspberry.

For the This Is Us star's hair, Ashley also took her cues from the dress. "Mandy’s pink dream-wedding hair was inspired by her custom layered Rodarte dress," she says. "The perfect pale pink hue of the dress adorned with baby's breath inspired a whimsical and romantic feel, while still remaining classic.” After prepping Moore's damp hair with Garnier Fructis Amp Root Lifting Spray Mousse and Plush Mega Full Thickening Lotion, she blew it dry with a small round brush, starting at the roots to increase volume. Then she curled and pinned the back of the hair (starting at the bottom of the head) with a 1¼ -inch curling iron. After it cooled for about 30 minutes, she removed the pins and lightly brushed through her hair before back-combing to create a soft, fluffy wave. To create an extra-romantic vibe, Ashley placed pink baby's breath throughout Moore's hair with eyelash glue before affixing her veil with bobby pins.

Gorgeous. It's no wonder her lipstick is already sold out at Sephora.
