Update, July 15, 2020: After Demi Moore revealed her bathroom has wall-to-wall brown carpet, we were all pretty confused. Thankfully, the actress answered some of our burning questions while she was a guest on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday. When Meyers asks her about the carpeting, Moore says "that was originally a Bruce Willis choice. Not to put it off on him." She further explains the practicality of the unconventional flooring, saying that the home is in the mountains where it gets very cold, so the carpeting has never bothered her and that "it's actually quite good."

Moore also addresses peoples' reactions to the other random things in her home. "I appreciate the interest that has gone into all of my little oddities because this place definitely houses a lot of my treasures," she laughs. After saying that she had some laughs with her family over the comments on all her differently sized "eccentricities," she pulls out a giant tennis ball (and suddenly I notice the giant paper clip leaning against the stone wall behind her!).

One thing fans didn't catch that disappointed her? The floral couch that she's sitting on during the interview and in the photos of her bathroom is actually a miniature couch. Oh, and if you were wondering why the couch was in her bathroom, it's because the room gets the best sound for her podcast. Moore was recording in the bathroom for most of the day, but couldn't bring in full-sized furniture, so she temporarily moved the miniature couch, which she made for her children a while ago, from the living room to the bathroom. Ah, the joys of improvising a home office!

TBD on why her bathroom has a Joan of Arc statute and a monkey in the crevices of stone wall panel. But at least we know more about the carpeting and the couch.

July 10, 2020: With everyone—celebrities included—stuck at home over the past few months, we've gotten many glimpses into people's homes...and some are definitely stranger than others. This week, Demi Moore shared a behind-the-scenes look at a recording session of "Dirty Diana," her new drama podcast that premieres next week. But the only drama people were really focused on was Moore's—er—unusual bathroom.

The pictures Moore shared on Twitter show her sitting on a floral printed sofa with a MacBook propped up, an iPad, and a microphone on a table. At first, it looks like she's in a vanity room with wall-to-wall brown carpeting. But then you spot the toilet in the corner of one photo and a bathtub in the the other, and you realize that she's actually in a bathroom... with carpet. "This is the strangest late 80s/early 90s looking bathroom I’ve ever seen," one person commented. "Especially with the threadbare couch. I kind of love it but ....@justdemi we need explanations!"

Many people replied with comments about the shaggy carpet. "All I can look at his carpet in the bathroom," one person tweeted. Others questioned the potential sanitary issues, wondering what happens when the toilet overflows. Someone even jokingly offered to put in vinyl plank flooring.

But the brown carpet wasn't the only puzzling thing in the bathroom that Twitter users noticed. There's a stone wall next to the toilet, and upon close inspection, you can see a small monkey in its crevices. Next to the tub, there's a life-size Joan of Arc statute, which Moore tweeted about last year. Hey, we're all for personal decor decisions, so we're not judging, but that's one unique bathroom.
