Contrary to popular belief, there are countless cool winter manicures you can do during the holidays that don't include Christmas-themed designs. After all, just look to Demi Lovato, who debuted a super-rad abstract nail look that anyone — beginners included — can do at home this holiday season.

The "Anyone" singer revealed her festive new nail look via her Instagram Story on Sunday afternoon, and we found ourselves immediately wanting to recreate the graphic red, black, and green manicure. All you need for a look like this is a sheer ivory base shade, as well as red, green, and black polishes. Oh yeah, and a fine line brush (like this one) to do the details.

To get Lovato's look, start by painting your nails with your base shade — then simply use the tip of your brush, or a fine line brush, to create the red and green half-circles on each nail. Then, dip your fine line brush into your black polish and draw artful squiggles on each digit, just like the one seen on the pop star's thumb. Complete the look with a shiny topcoat to seal everything in place.

Naturally, we're psyched to see celebs like Lovato — as well as Kylie Jenner and Khloé Kardashian — serving up some epic holiday nail inspiration. And December hasn't even started yet, folks.

It's safe to say we're in for a month full of amazing holiday manicure inspiration, so be sure to check back if and when you need ideas because we'll be documenting all of our favorite looks of the season.
