Demi Lovato, 28, has a reputation for being open and honest with their fans. From social media posts about living with bipolar disorder to getting candid about their eating disorder in a new documentary, Demi doesn't hold back.

Now, in a new Instagram post, they're sharing a powerful message about body positivity and learning to be comfortable in their own skin. The brand new selfie shows Demi relaxing on their couch while wearing a black bikini.

"Had to film a sex scene today. My first one!" the singer wrote in the caption. "I had a little anxiety going into it but the cast and crew were so professional and easy to work with, it calmed me down immediately. Then, I thought about how proud I am for being able to feel comfortable enough in my skin to do that."

"I rarely ever showed my arms before.. now I’m in this!!" they continued. "(Granted, it barely shows anything BUT STILL) I don’t always feel good in my skin, so when I do, AND I feel sexy enough to post - I do just that! It’s important to celebrate the little wins. Yay for this random burst of body confidence and yay for awkward hilarious sex 😂🖤."

Fans offered Demi plenty of words of support in the comments. "An inspiration ❤️🙌🔥," one fan wrote. Another added "proud of you and love you ❤️❤️❤️." "Yesss soo happy and proud of you ❤️❤️," someone else seconded.

This isn't the first time Demi has shared about body positivity. From jiu-jitsu bikini photos to posts about why #thickthighssavelives, they've been celebrating their body for years, and fans are here. For. It.

"I'm insecure about my legs in this picture but I'm posting it because I look so happy and this year I've decided I'm letting go of my perfectionism and embracing freedom from self criticism," they wrote in the caption of an older post.

"Learning to love my body the way it is challenging but life changing. Giving up my eating disorder has been the most challenging journey of my life but I work every day towards solid recovery even if I mess up sometimes."

I am so here for the good vibes, Demi!
