  • Demi Lovato, 28, just revealed she got a nose ring in new bare-faced selfie video.

  • The "Anyone" singer debuted her "new face accessory" on Instagram Stories.

  • Demi swears by double-cleansing to keep her skin clear and glowing.

Guess who's back? Demi Lovato, debuting a "new face accessory" on Instagram Stories. The "Anyone" singer, 28, just showed off a glittery nose ring, while rocking a pair of chunky, clear glasses. She looks almost unrecognizable, but still totally gorgeous, with the new bling, specs, and a few strands of her blonde pixie cut peeking out.

Meanwhile, Demi's skin looks amazing, so it's no surprise she's a skincare junkie. "She has said she would have loved to be an esthetician," her longtime esthetician Renée Rouleau (they've been working together since Demi was 17!) told PopSugar. "I just think it's unique that she's so committed to caring for her skin and making it a priority. All these years—even through the struggles of her personal life, which she has publicly spoken about, she was still seeing me."

Every night, when Demi takes off her makeup, Rouleau said she double-cleanses. "The proper removal for makeup is a double cleanse," Renée said. "I'll have her using the Vitamin-Infused Cleansing Emulsion ($36). A water-based cleanser is going to wash off really easily, but it's not going to grab makeup with it. You need something creamy to really dissolve that makeup off." She follows it with Rouleau's AHA/BHA Blemish Control Cleanser.

Rouleau also revealed in a blog post that she advises Demi—along with the rest of her clients like Lili Reinhart—to moisturize during the 60-second window after washing her face or stepping out of the shower. "After washing the face and patting dry with a towel, your bare skin is most vulnerable to dehydration through a process called 'osmosis,'" she writes in the post. In other words, "you have a 60-second window before moisture evaporation will occur." What does she moisturize with? "An alcohol-free toner to deliver water to thirsty cells and then follow it with a serum and moisturizer."

But no matter how good her skin is, Demi told Elle the most important part of a makeup-free selfie is confidence: "It's all about being confident without makeup. I've always been confident without makeup. Also, having great lighting and a good angle helps."
