It looks like Demi Lovato's ex-fiancé Max Ehrich has his eyes set on another singer — Olivia Rodrigo. Following reports of Olivia's alleged breakup with DJ and influencer Zack Bia, Max seemingly decided to shoot his shot with a comment on Pop Crave's Instagram post breaking the news. According to a tweet by the outlet, the 31-year-old actor commented "my turn" in regards to romantically pursuing the 19-year-old Grammy winner.

Max's initial comment has been deleted since, and per Newsweek, he commented again with a heart-eyes emoji. Fans of both Olivia and Demi then criticized his move on Twitter. "The way he deleted the comment and commented an emoji.." one fan wrote, while another jokingly posted a screenshot of Demi's own infamous 2015 Instagram comments reading, "GET A JOB. STAY AWAY FROM HER."

Another fan even criticized the 12-year age difference between Max and Olivia by posting a snippet of Demi's song, "29." Demi's lyrics reflect on her previous relationship with Wilmer Valderrama, who was also 12 years her elder.

In 2020, Demi and Max had a fast-paced whirlwind romance after quarantining together during the COVID-19 pandemic and getting engaged after being together for four months. In September 2020, they broke up after being engaged for two months, which Demi said was the "best thing" that's happened to her ahead of exploring her nonbinary identity.
"I got into this straight relationship and that was great, but that led me to ignoring all the parts of myself that I didn't think were digestible for my partner at the time, who ended up becoming my fiancé," Demi said at The 19th Represents Summit in August 2021.
"In hindsight, the dissolvement of that relationship was actually probably the best thing that's happened to me, because of what that led inside of myself," she explained. "I was able to stand on my own two feet. When I said goodbye to that relationship I also said goodbye to everything that was holding me back from being my most authentic self."
