Demi Lovato, Billie Eilish Perform on iHeart Living Room Concert for America

We've reached the point in our respective social distancing journeys where it feels like we all need one hefty pick-me-up. Luckily, musicians like Demi Lovato were available this weekend to help iHeartRadio put on a special concert series to lift our spirits while raising money for a good cause.

On Sunday night (March 29), the iHeartRadio Living Room Concert for America aired on Fox. Hosted by Elton John, the concert series was dedicated to those on the frontlines of the COVID-19 global pandemic who were helping to treat those affected by the virus and raise awareness on how to prevent it from spreading.

The night featured many moving performances, including Demi's. The singer did a stirring rendition of her 2011 ballad "Skyscraper" for the occasion. The song, which talks about staying strong when times are tough and the odds seem insurmountable, was a perfect choice for the concert. Demi recorded herself from her living room, where she sat at her piano and played as she sang. Included in her video were clips from around the country, including Times Square in New York City, showing empty streets in the wake of numerous states encouraging Americans to stay at home to prevent spreading or contracting COVID-19.

But Demi wasn't the only artist featured in this stellar concert lineup. Billie Eilish and her brother, Finneas, performed an acoustic version of her hit song "Bad Guy". Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello, who are in self-quarantine together right now, also went the acoustic route and performed a new version of Camila's song "My Oh My." Some of our childhood faves, the Backstreet Boys and Mariah Carey, also logged on to play their respective hits "I Want It That Way" and "Always Be My Baby."

To top it all off, artists including Lizzo and Lady Gaga participated in the concert, though they didn't perform. Instead, they tuned in to encourage viewers to donate to various charities, like Feeding America, which is working to help those affected by COVID-19.
