Demi Lovato Accidentally Crashed Max Ehrich's Instagram Live

Dating rumors have been swirling around Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich for a few days now, and thanks to an IG blunder, it seems as though there might be some truth to the gossip.

As noted by PopCrave, Max was filming an Instagram Live for his fans earlier this week, like many stars have chosen to do while practicing social distancing. At one point in the clip while Max is seated at a piano, Demi enters the frame, seemingly wrapped up in a blanket. “I’m on live!” the Young and the Restless actor says to her in a stage whisper, leading the pair to erupt into giggles. Demi quickly makes her exit, but not before she appears in the corner of the screen — which was definitely long enough for fans to notice. Whoops!

Fans were already on high alert about these two after Demi left a flirty comment on a shirtless black-and-white photo of Max earlier in the week. “When u realize u should’ve packed more for your quarantine stay,” the actor captioned the photo of himself, with Demi writing: “Fine by me.”

To add to the fire, Demi also seemingly liked a few more posts from the actor — and Max even captioned another video with: “4D,” adding a heart emoji for emphasis.

It’s worth remembering that, at this point, neither celeb has confirmed their relationship status — so for all we know, they’re just friends, hanging out in isolation together. For her part, Demi has found plenty of ways to stay busy while practicing social distancing. She recently shared a high fashion FaceTime photo shoot, and has appeared on Miley Cyrus’s new IG Live talk show. Demi has also found ways to give back, like participating in the #SaveWithStories campaign to help children whose schools have been closed during the coronavirus pandemic. We’ll definitely be keeping an eye on her Instagram to see what other social distancing activities she tries out — and to see if she makes any more surprise appearances on Max’s page too.
