Unless you're truly dedicated and decide to bring like, makings for a cheeseboard or cocktail on your flights, you're pretty much stuck with the same old, same old of tiny bottles of wine and little bottles of liquor (not that we're exactly complaining about that...). However, airlines are thankfully starting to get with the times and offering some new beverage options liked spiked seltzer.

Delta Airlines is the latest company to hop on the spiked seltzer train. The airline announced in a press release that it would start offering Bon & Viv spiked seltzer on domestic flights in two flavors: grapefruit and lemon-lime.

The seltzers will be available for free to customers in Delta One, Delta Premium Select, First Class, and Delta Comfort+. If you're flying economy, you can purchase a 12-ounce can for $8. The roll-out follows a successful test run of spiked seltzer in domestic Delta Sky Clubs.

If this news sounds a bit familiar, you might be remembering that JetBlue became the first airline to offer spiked seltzer onboard with Truly Wild Berry back in November. JetBlue also started selling canned wine late last year, so it seems like the friendly skies are going to become a lot friendlier to those of us who enjoy a canned bev.

As for Delta and Bon & Viv, you can start picking up cans on your flights in March, which if you haven't noticed, is now. Expect to see these on beverage carts alongside the ginger ale, though availability may vary while these roll out everywhere. Now can we make this available across airlines already? Spring break is right around the corner...
