Should daylight saving time be eliminated?

On Sunday, most Americans will adjust their clocks by “falling back” an hour to return to what is commonly called standard time. Each March every state besides Arizona and Hawaii “springs forward” to shift an hour of daylight from the morning to the evening — a practice known as daylight saving time. A push to end the semiannual clock change is gaining momentum throughout the country. Most of the momentum is behind a movement to make daylight saving time permanent so the “spring forward” period lasts all year long.
