…the Gardens of Versailles. This being Bastille Day, we’re in a French state of mind. And these ornate and well-manicured gardens, the legacy of King Louis XIV, give us a French-flavored tranquility. This 1,976-acre wonder and its beautiful 210,000 flowers, 50 fountains, and 200,000 trees make it easy to get lost in a relaxing, green daydream — that is, until we start thinking about all the yardwork we have to do this weekend.
