… Sossusvlei, in the Namib-Naukluft National Park of Namibia. The deep-orange sand dunes in this 19,000 square-mile park make for the ultimate fantasy sandbox. The colorful terrain looks like another planet; in fact, it’s been used for that very purpose in the sci-fi movies that have shot here. So when your thoughts take you a world away, this is a good place to land.
