How David and Victoria Beckham reacted to Brooklyn's engagement
Brooklyn Beckham and girlfriend Nicola Peltz announced their engagement over the weekend, and received congratulations from around the world in response. But how did his famous parents Victoria and David Beckham react?
In short, they're overjoyed. Both the footballer and fashion designer took to Instagram to celebrate the happy news, welcoming Nicola into the family with open arm. Cute!
ICYMI, 21-year-old Brooklyn revealed to his 12 million Instagram followers on Saturday [11 July] that he and the 25-year-old model were planning to tie the knot. "Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes xx," he wrote.
"I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day ❤️ I love you baby xx"

Since, both David and Victoria have reposted the happy engagement photo to their own accounts. "Congratulations to these two beautiful people ♥️" David wrote. "As they begin this exciting journey together we are so so happy for you guys @brooklynbeckham @nicolaannepeltz @victoriabeckham ♥️"
Victoria added, "The MOST exciting news!! We could not be happier that @brooklynbeckham and @nicolaannepeltz are getting married! Wishing you so much love and a lifetime of happiness 🙏🏻We all love you both so much x @davidbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven 💕"

The pair have been together for around nine months after first being linked towards the end of 2019, and made their Instagram debut as a couple in January. Most recently, they had been isolating together in New York before recently flying to the UK to spend time with the rest of the Beckhams at their Cotswolds home.
