The daughter of an Oklahoma police chief involved in a recent Starbucks cup scandal has denounced him on Twitter.

The woman, who goes by the handle @MissOMara, took to the social media platform last Saturday to condemn Kiefer Police Chief Johnny O'Mara.

"This is my father and i’d like to say that he is absolutely a pig and i’d like to thank the brave men and women from starbucks for their service," the user wrote.

The woman's retort comes just two days after O'Mara went on Facebook to share a photo of a Starbucks cup with a label that called the officer who ordered several drinks a "pig." The cop, who had gotten the drink in question at a Starbucks branch in Glenpool, reportedly contacted O'Mara, who then contacted the store.

"What irks me is the absolute and total disrespect for a police officer who, instead of being home with family and enjoying a meal and a football game, is patrolling his little town," the police chief wrote in a now-deleted Facebook post, according to NBC News.

O'Mara also allegedly said in his post that the term "pig" is "another tiny symptom and a nearly indiscernible shout from a contemptuous, roaring and riotous segment of a misanthropic society that vilifies those who stand for what’s right and glorifies the very people who would usher in the destruction of the social fabric."

According to KTUL, a manager at Starbucks offered to swap out the label before O'Mara went public with the incident. The barista responsible for the label later apologized to the officer who had received the cup and claimed that it was a joke, the station added.

Still, the apology came too late. On Friday, Starbucks announced that the employee was fired.

"The Starbucks partner who wrote this offensive word on a cup used poor judgement and is no longer a partner after this violation of company policy," the company's statement read. "This language is offensive to all law enforcement and is not representative of the deep appreciation we have for police officers who work tirelessly to keep our communities safe."

Amid the uproar, the person claiming to be O'Mara's daughter ironically took to Twitter the next day to defend the barista and berate her father instead.

"For the record, my father has 0 business being a police officer," she tweeted. "He was blatantly, proudly racist when i was a kid. said things i would never repeat. he treats women like dogs, including his own daughter. oink oink"

Responding to another user, she further claimed that the officer at the center of the incident had apparently shrugged off the entire situation and accused O'Mara of trying to gain attention.

As of Monday afternoon, the woman's original tweet has been liked over 500,000 times and retweeted more than 90,000 times.

"Omg. Young lady, you've got a fierce heart and a brave soul and I have no doubt it will serve not only you well, but the world also," one person wrote. "May your angels go before you and ease the way."

"People get bent out of shape because cops get called 'pigs,' but give cops a pass even when they discover their racists email groups, call citizens racial slurs, and have a record of mistreatment/excessive force including killing of unarmed citizens," another tweeted back.

Others accused the woman of being hypocritical, pulling up a previous tweet in which she used a racial slur in reference to black people. In response, the woman apologized.

"I was a kid and i grew up man," she wrote. "I’m sorry for that but i still never came close to the things he used to say. he said some truly heinous sh*t that even back then i couldn’t believe anyone could say."

Update: A story by the Daily Mail has identified the woman and Twitter user as Lauren O'Mara. Photos supplied to the publication appear to confirm that the woman is, in fact, related to police chief Johnny O'Mara.
