Daughter brings mom to tears with surprise recording of her singing
A video of a daughter surprising her mother with her beautiful singing voice has gone viral on TikTok.
Jordyn Ballard shared the clip of her sister, Reid Ballard, surprising her mom with a recording of herself singing Adele’s “Make You Feel My Love” on the platform, where it has since been viewed over 29.5 million times.

“My sister has never sang for anyone but me,” Jordyn captioned the clip. “My mom has been BEGGING her for years to record a couple songs for her.”
In the video, Jordyn and Reid played the recording out loud for their mother, who at first did not realize it was her own daughter singing. However, after a bit of gentle nudging, she eventually came to the realization that it’s not Adele singing.
“Do you realize who this is?” Jordyn asks her mom in the now-viral video.
Her mom looks at the camera, confused, before realizing what’s going on and bursting into tears.

The emotional clip has stirred quite a response on TikTok, leaving even some celebs in awe of the family moment.
“I cried,” commented Shuba, known on the platform as @tiktokbrownchick.
“I almost started crying holy cow she’s amazing,” wrote TikTok star Markell Washington.
Since the clip went viral, Jordyn has shared additional clips of Reid singing on TikTok, including covers of Christina Aguilera’s “Bound To You” and Linda Ronstadt’s “Blue Bayou.”
Reid has also created her own TikTok profile, but has yet to post any videos.
