Daniel Craig has once again confirmed that No Time To Die, his fifth outing as James Bond, will mark his final film in the beloved spy franchise.

Craig made this confirmation during his Friday night appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. After the host asked Craig if he was “done with Bond,” Craig responded with, “Yes,” and then, “It’s done.”

The 51-year-old actor, who has previously appeared as 007 in Casino Royale, Quantum Of Solace, Skyfall and Spectre, also opened up about his farewell as Bond during his interview with German publication Express, confirming that he was finished with the part, before adding that "someone else needs to have a go."

But while Craig previously courted controversy after insisting he’d “rather break this glass and slash my wrists” than reprise Bond after Spectre, he was in a much kinder mood after concluding No Time To Die.

"It’s been, as they always are, incredibly hard work, but it’s a massive collaboration. One of the most moving things for me about finishing the film is that I have been working with some of the people for 30 years,” he told Express.

These echoed the sentiments that Craig made at the emotional wrap party for No Time To Die in Italy, when he remarked, “This has been one of the best, most wonderful experiences I have ever had. You've all done the most amazing job. I could not be more proud to work with every single one of you on this production.”

No Time To Die is released on April 8, 2020, while Craig can next be seen in Knives Out, which hits screens on November 29.
