Danica McKellar Shares Heartwarming Photo for Wedding Anniversary
McKellar and her husband have been married for eight years.
The Wonder Years' Danica McKellar, who played Winnie Cooper in the classic series, is celebrating a major accomplishment: eight years of marriage with her husband, Scott Sveslosky.
Sveslosky is a partner in the Business Trial Practice Group, commonly working on insurance-related litigation and similar cases. McKellar told Country Living that the two were introduced through friends and got married in 2014.
The actress posted a sweet photo on Instagram of herself and Sveslosky holding hands in front of a fireplace, captioning the picture, "Happy 8th Anniversary to the love of my life! So happy I got to come home to you tonight (in Tennessee!) after my NYC day of press (more on that tomorrow). I love you so much! ❤️."
McKellar's excitement to get home to her husband had everyone swooning, with singer-songwriter Debbie Gibson commenting, "You two together are so heavenly ! Perfect fit! Love ya girl. Happy Anniversary and love to you both ❤️."
Actress Alison Sweeney, best known for playing Sami Brady on Days of Our Lives, also left two red hearts on the post.
The comments were filled with well-wishes from fans, many of whom also hoped her recent move to Tennessee from Los Angeles, California went well, with many of those who call the state home welcoming McKellar and her family.
One fan wrote, "Happy Anniversary Yall ❤️ Welcome To Tennessee, We Love it Here !"
"Omg I just love seeing you so happy! Your smile and love of life is infectious!❤️," another said.
McKellar spoke to TODAY about the move, saying, "We just love it so much."
Referencing her history of starring in Christmas movies, and the classic storyline of a woman from a big city moving to the country and finding love, the 47-year-old said, "It’s life imitating art in a way. I’ve done these Christmas movies for so many years and finally I’m like, ‘You know what? That sounds like a good idea.’”
After The Wonder Years, McKellar went on to act in The West Wing and other live-action TV shows and movies while also taking on a lot of voice work.
Next up for McKellar is another Christmas movie, Christmas at the Drive-In, which will premiere on the Great American Family network on Nov. 25.
