Even if you haven't watched Schitt's Creek yet, you probably know about the popular Canadian sitcom — or at least heard about how it swept all the major comedy categories at the 2020 Emmy's. In fact, the record-breaking show took home a total of nine trophies on Sunday night (the most ever for a comedy in a single year!), including wins for all four leads Eugene Levy, Dan Levy, Catherine O'Hara and Annie Murphy — not to mention the numerous awards it managed to snag for writing and directing.

Of course, after such a historic win at the Emmy's, you might be wondering where you can watch Schitt's Creek yourself, particularly its award-winning sixth and final season. Thankfully, the show's lead star and co-creator Dan Levy has revealed all the info on Schitt's Creek season 6 including when it's expected to be available on Netflix. Time to get watching!

When is season 6 of ‘Schitt’s Creek’ coming to Netflix?

Schitt's Creek is currently available on Netflix, but right now, the only available seasons you can watch on the popular streaming site are seasons 1–5. So when can we expect the final season to be available on Netflix? In an episode of First We Feast's Hot Ones back in July of this year, Dan Levy revealed that season 6 of Schitt's Creek will be coming to Netflix in October.

"I am celebrating the end of our show," he said while on the popular Youtube series. "It still has to drop on Netflix in October, which is very exciting."

Though Dan never mentioned the exact release date in October, we can guess that it's likely early in the month based on past release dates for the show's earlier seasons — which means we'll be able to binge-watch the final season before we know it!

Where can you watch ‘Schitt’s Creek’ before then?

Can't wait until October? There are several other streaming services where you can watch season 6 of Schitt's Creek. All seasons are available to stream on Pop TV, the series' home network, where you'll have to log in through your cable provider to watch. If you don't have a cable subscription, you can also purchase Schitt's Creek season 6 (along with the rest of seasons 1–5) on Amazon Prime, Google Play, YouTube, and Apple TV.

Of course, if you'd rather wait for Netflix to drop the final season, you can always pass the time by re-watching (or catching up, if you haven't watched yet!) the earlier seasons on Netflix — after all, we can never get enough of the Rose family on our screens! In the meantime, we have our fingers crossed that we'll be able to watch the sixth and final season very soon.
