Dakota Johnson appears to have had some minor dental work done—closing her signature tooth gap—and it has absolutely devastated Twitter. The actress was photographed smiling at the premiere of The Peanut Butter Falcon, and fans noticed then that the tooth gap she could once hold money in was gone.

They tweeted about their many feelings about this loss on the platform. "woke up to find out dakota johnson no longer has her tooth gap, i'll cry myself back to sleep," one wrote. Another acknowledged how wild it was that her tooth gap became a trending topic (some people were seriously sad about it, some people were trolling, and then it just took off). And others accepted the change because it was what Johnson wanted: "I just found out dakota johnson fixed her tooth gap and i'm kinda sad because that was like her brand but if it makes her feel better i'm all for it u go queen," one user wrote. (Johnson was one of the few actresses in Hollywood who kept her tooth gap; many others have had theirs closed.)
