Dakota Johnson had a very special plus-one to the Los Angeles premiere of her new horror movie Suspiria and no, it wasn’t boyfriend Chris Martin.

The 29-year-old and her famous grandmother, 88-year-old Tippi Hedren, made quite the adorable duo on Wednesday night, walking hand-in-hand on the red carpet as they posed for pictures together.

Dakota glittered in a sparkly red Celine dress with a plunging neckline and puffy sleeves. She accessorized with strappy black Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and simple silver earrings. Her grandmother opted for a more neutral look, wearing black slacks with a coordinating top and a black-and-white patterned jacket. The Hollywood legend finished off her ensemble with black flats, a chain strap black crossbody bag, and an array of gold jewelry.

As we know, Johnson comes from a long line of Hollywood royalty. Tippi, whose career dates back to the ‘60s, is best known for her role in Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds and Marnie. Hedren also made a splash for raising a fully grown lion in her home in Los Angeles in the 1970s, a decision she later called, "stupid beyond belief."

She and ex husband, ad executive Peter Griffith, are the parents of Melanie Griffith, who starred in many classic films such as Working Girl and Lolita. The 61-year-old, who is Hedren's only child, had Dakota with actor Don Johnson. She was later married to actor Antonio Banderas until 2015.

Clearly, the Hollywood dynasty is still going strong. You go, Grandma Tippi.
