Dakota Fanning Makes a Case for the Pale Pink Holiday Party Suit
Holiday party season is in full swing, and Dakota Fanning came through to give us a new take on dressing for these affairs.
The American Pastoral actress was on hand for a holiday event she co-hosted with designer Gabriela Hearst, and The Line executive creative director Vanessa Traina in NYC. The affair was attended by quite a few members of the fashion set, with Joseph Altuzarra, Miroslava Duma, and Pamela Love counted among the guests. While there were plenty of fly ensembles to behold, Fanning proved to be the hostess with the mostest, particularly when it comes to style.
For the evening, Fanning chose a suit from Hearst’s Spring 2017 collection in a pale pink hue. The ensemble included a ribbed V-neck top, which she wore underneath a matching blazer and paper bag waist trousers. She slipped on a pair of Resort 2016 navy pumps and carried a sand-colored structured bag, also by the designer. The actress accessorized with Monique Péan jewelry.
The powdery pink color is definitely giving us springtime vibes, which, in the midst of a polar vortex, is a welcome reminder that it will be warm again … one of these days.
