This, like every summer, is the summer of the Blizzard. There are about a trillion new flavors for you to try at your local DQ (I recently tried the Frosted Animal Cookie Blizzard and HIGHLY recommend!) but in case you're looking for one more, might I introduce you to the new Drumstick Blizzard?

Yes, Dairy Queen has taken your very favorite summer ice cream truck treat and made it into a delicious Blizzard. It takes Nestle Drumstick pieces, chopped peanuts, and chocolate blended with the vanilla soft serve for the chocolatey, crunchy, delicious treat of your dreams. I think we can all agree that the worst part (if there even is one!) of eating a Drumstick is the fact that it can drip all over your hands if you don't eat it quickly enough. Guess what? Not a problem here! You get to use your spoon and enjoy a lot more ice cream in the process. That's truly never a bad thing.

Dairy Queen loves this treat so much that they've dubbed it the Blizzard of the Month, so if you're smart (which I know you are, because you are reading this article right now), you'll head on over to your local DQ and get yourself a taste of this Blizzard! Like most of the DQ summer Blizzards that have made it to the menu, this one will only be sticking around for a limited time, so I would act quickly. Get thee to a drive-thru.
