Ice cream is especially refreshing during the summer months, but it becomes a total fall dessert when it includes certain cozy flavors. Not only is Dairy Queen bringing back its Pumpkin Pie Blizzard for another season, but it is releasing a new Pumpkin Cookie Butter Shake!

The new fall-inspired sip consists of Dairy Queen’s signature vanilla soft-serve and milk that’s mixed with pumpkin and cookie butter, which is made from ground cinnamon spice cookies. It’s topped with whipped cream and nutmeg, so it’s full of those seasonal spices to create a fall ice cream treat.

In addition to the new shake, Dairy Queen is putting the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard back on the menu. If you haven’t had the chance to try it in previous years — first off, why not? — then you do not want to miss it again. This Blizzard is made with vanilla soft-serve and real pumpkin pie pieces, and then topped with whipped topping and nutmeg. Yes, that means you’ll get actual chunks of pumpkin pie in your spoonful. Do you see why it’s always a treat people look forward to?

Both the Pumpkin Cookie Butter Shake and Pumpkin Pie Blizzard will be available starting on Aug. 31, a PR rep confirmed to Best Products. They’ll be on the menu for a limited time, because you know Dairy Queen will have to make room for more winter- and holiday-ready treats that are bound to come out.
