Cyclist Finds The Ultimate Motivation To Go For A Ride

Athletes of all kinds often can easily find themselves in a rut. Motivating to go for a ride can be hard.

Thankfully one rider has a solution. See Jeremy Jones’ unique motivation contraption below.

Thanks to a donut on a stick, Jones can ride forever.

This setup mimics the motivation technique for pack animals wherein the driver puts a carrot on a stick to incentivize them to move forward. Though applying this to an intelligent human mountain biker is a tongue-in-cheek joke, the difficulty of finding the motivation to ride is real.

For some, food can be a motivator, even if it just means a stop at the donut store on the way home rather than an elaborate strong and stick setup.

Another way to motivate is to make a pact with friends to go riding together. That way, you can brave the cold temps and darkness. And a beer after is a great motivation!
