Every year, Trooping the Colour (otherwise known as Queen Elizabeth's second, more public birthday celebration) occurs during a weekend in June. The parade, which is brimming with pomp and ceremony, always features public appearances by nearly ever royal family member, when they gather on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. Last year, Kate Middleton stepped away from her maternity leave to appear, and it was also Meghan Markle's very first time attending.
