STEVE ALEXANDER: Stephen Curry is rostered in every fantasy league imaginable, but his 62-point performance on Sunday night is still worth revisiting. Curry hit 18 of 31 shots, eight three-pointers and 18 of 19 free throws on his way to a career high 62 points against Damian Lillard, who added 32 points and six triples of his own.

Curry also had five boards and four assists, and had scored at least 30 points in three of his six games this season. He never shot more than 16 free throws in a game, so the 19 attempts also represented a career high for Curry. He was taken with the number one pick in some fantasy leagues this season due to the uncertainty surrounding guys like James Harden and Anthony Davis.

And he still has a pretty decent chance of finishing as the number one player this season as he's averaging 32.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 6.2 assists, 1.2 steals, and 4.3 three-pointers. He should be primed for another monster week in week three. And the early chatter about him not being able to carry a team or win a Finals MVP are hopefully a thing of the past.
