Crocs’ Iconic Grateful Dead Clogs Are About to Restock — Here’s How to Get Your Hands on a Pair

Grateful Dead fans, prepare your wallets now because Crocs is about to restock one of its most beloved collaborations.

The Crocs x Grateful Dead x Chinatown Market clogs pull inspiration from the legendary music group with a funky tie-dye design reminiscent of vintage style. Formed with custom Jibbitz, the design quickly sold out during its September 2020 release but lucky for Deadheads, it is restocking today, Jan. 12. You can shop the clogs with a retail price of $60 exclusively at both Crocs.com and TheChinatownMarket.com starting at 12 p.m. ET.

The unique design for the collab pulls inspiration from a retro band T-shirt with its psychedelic colorway and Jibbitz that both pay homage to the band and Crocs’ headquarters in Colorado. The charms of course highlight the iconic Grateful Dead dancing bears in an ode to the band’s 1973 album, “History of the Grateful Dead, Volume 1 (Bear’s Choice).” For a nod to the Crocs’ HQ, you’ll also find rock climbing holds ready for reaching new heights and altitudes across the mountainous state.

If you miss out on the release today, resale sites like StockX and GOAT offer pairs of the tie-dye clogs with prices ranging from $70 to $188 depending on the size.

The collaboration with Crocs is not Grateful Dead’s first dive into the footwear world, either. In the summer of 2020, the band worked with Nike for a legendary twist on the brand’s FN Achievement Award-winning SB Dunk silhouette. The style released in a mix of colorways that now resell for over $4,000 for certain colorways on StockX. The artists behind hits like “Truckin” and “Casey Jones” have also joined forces with Chaco, Sanuk and Stance for a mix of sandals and socks.
