Criminal Minds fans, Penelope Garcia is back! Everyone's favorite BAU tech analyst posted a video from set, and viewers of the show's 15 original seasons are beside themselves with excitement.

Paramount+ confirmed that the show will be returning, exclusively on the streaming service. The 10-episode reboot will bring back Kirsten along with Adam Rodriguez, A.J. Cook, Paget Brewster, and Aisha Tyler.

The release date of the reboot is unknown, but here's what the show will be about, according to Deadline: "The FBI’s elite team of criminal profilers come up against their greatest threat yet, an UnSub who has used the pandemic to build a network of other serial killers. Now, as the world opens back up, the network goes operational, and our team must hunt them down, one murder at a time."

Kirsten's video shows her in full Penelope costume, complete with funky glasses and a polka dot dress. She says, "Behold, she is risen. I don't know what else to say...Criminal Minds is back." The video is captioned, "See you soon Penelope.😊 #CriminalMinds" The video was met with thousands of comments and almost a 100,000 likes.

Fans left comments like, "can’t believe this is actually happening," "Omg this is amazing news!!!" and "my heart is so happy!! I have felt like part of my family is missing!!" Another wrote, "I'm gonna cry. I'm so happy. I love you and looove Penelope!"

Some fans are a bit confused by Kirsten's involvement in the reboot. After all, the season 15 finale found Penelope saying her goodbyes to the team and leaving for another job. One viewer wrote, "Wait, Penelope did not take the other job?! 😮" Kirsten replied in the comments, "SHE DID TAKE IT."

Well, we'll have to wait to see what that means. In the meantime, it's time for a rewatch. All 15 seasons are available for streaming on Paramount+.
