Creme Savers Hard Candies Are Returning to the U.S. After a Decade Off Shelves
It’s been a decade — yes, 10 whole years — that shelves have been bare of Creme Savers. From the creamy flavor to the iconic swirl of colors, the hard candies have been missed by fans. This is all to say that if consumers make enough noise, magic can happen! The beloved sweets are heading back to stores this year. Cue the nostalgia.
Mars Wrigley and Iconic Candy, the brand that has pioneered the candy’s return, have worked together to bring Creme Savers back. The timing couldn’t better, as we can all agree that any sort of comfort is much appreciated these days. Plus, they’re coming back in the two most popular flavors!
At the height of its popularity, Creme Savers came in a range of flavors, including fruit-, tropical-, and dessert-swirled blends. For this 2021 reintroduction, however, it’ll be available in the two most popular varieties: Strawberries & Creme and Orange & Creme. The hard candies have been reformulated and remastered to bring back those flavors you knew so well. But you’ll still get that mix of fresh fruit and rich crème that make Creme Savers an iconic sweet.
Now for the important information we know you’re waiting for. Beginning in September 2021, Creme Savers hard candies will be available nationwide at all 1,414 Big Lots stores across 47 states. To those three states that are sans Big Lots, we’re sorry, but this is a valid reason to take a train, plane, or automobile to get to one.
