Creepy Cocoa Crispy M&M’s Are Returning For Halloween This Year

A solid selection of Halloween candy is already making its way into stores in preparation for spooky season, and we're here for it. Joining the ranks of apple pie Kit Kats and Hershey’s spooky shapes Halloween candy mix are Creepy Cocoa Crispy M&M’s.

Instagrammer @junkbanter spotted the candy at the grocery store Giant–meaning the candy is no longer a Target exclusive: “One actual good thing to happen in 2020 is that the Creepy Cocoa Crisp M&M’s are back this year,” the account wrote in a post featuring the product. The M&M's have a cocoa crisp center with a coating of dark chocolate and come in red, orange, and brown colors.

People are pumped for the return of this Halloween-inspired treat. “I LOVED these...Best Crispy M&M's I’ve tried thus far,” one person commented. “I just opened my last bag today...Glad they're coming back,” another wrote. Others mentioned how they are hoping for the return of other Halloween-based M&M’s of years past like Cookies and Scream and white chocolate candy corn.

I’m sure Halloween in 2020 will be the spookiest spooky season yet. In a good or bad way? Only time will tell! But one aspect is for sure: There will be plenty of Halloween candy options–new and old–for devouring from the comfort of your couch and for months after the holiday has long passed. We always have candy to fall back on!
