Courteney Cox and Laura Dern Show Off Matching Tattoos With Their Kids in New Photos

It's apparently a 16-year 'tradition' for the longtime friends.

Courteney Cox and Laura Dern are making their tight bond a little bit more permanent.

The Friends alum took to Instagram to reveal that she and Dern, along with their adult children, got matching tattoos.

The actress even gave fans a look at the new ink, which includes a paper airplane with what appears to be the phrase "Go big" written in cursive.

Dern’s daughter, Jaya Harper, 18, and her son, Ellery Walker Harper, 21—who she shares with Ben Harper—and Cox's daughter, Coco Arquette, 18, whose father is Cox’s ex husband David Arquette, also rocked the same designs in the sweet family photo.

In the caption of the post, Cox seemed to suggest that this wasn't the first matching tattoo the group has gotten together, noting that it was a longtime holiday tradition for the families.

“Adding a new layer to our 16 year Christmas Eve tradition. Watch out… we might have sleeves by 2025," she captioned the post.

Reese Witherspoon, Dern’s Big Little Lies co-star, took to the comment section, writing, “Love it!” as Michelle Pfeiffer added, “Love!”

And one fan had plenty of follow up questions about the tradition, writing, “So many questions…. What is the meaning? Whose handwriting? Did you all roll into the tattoo parlor or did they come to you? etc, etc……”

We’ll just be over here waiting for those answers.

In the meantime, you can check out Cox reprise her role as Gale Weathers in the first trailer for the highly-anticipated Scream 6.
