Courteney Cox is the beacon of timeless glamour. Whether it’s taking inspiration from her outfits as Monica Geller or replicating her facial hacks, when the 55-year-old actress shares a beauty secret, we take note — and do our best to replicate it.
Most recently, Cox’s hairstylist, Chris McMillan (who also styles her best friend, Jennifer Aniston), posted a hilarious selfie from Cox mid-blowout. Sitting right atop her head and wrapped up in her voluminous waves is the Ibiza B5 cork brush, the blowout secret Mcmillan has been gushing about for years.
Nearly four years later, and the stylist is still using (and posting) about the $51 brush.
While it might seem pricey, McMillan says a hairbrush is as important to a blowout as a good hairdryer. If you put that into perspective, the prices match up.
He wrote: “If you’re styling your hair and for some reason it’s just...meh, pause and look at what you’re holding. More often than you’d think, the brush can make all the difference. Yes, of course, a great blow-dryer and the optimal styling lotion are important, too, but the right brush has the power to kick up the shine, smoothness, and awesomeness of your hair. And that, as everyone knows, is the opposite of meh.”
Another blowout staple for McMillan? The Parlux 3200 ceramic blow dryer (he even posted a pic of a Kris Jenner blowout with the hair tool in the background). The sleek black hair dryer is known for drying hair in minutes, without leaving it frizzy and damaged.
Combined, these two products can consistently give you that silky smooth and voluminous finish every time. Who doesn’t feel more confident after a great blowout?
