Of Course Matt Damon Won the Westminster Daddy Show on SNL

"Any man can be a father, but it takes a hot, middle-aged guy with a big job to be a daddy."

"For anyone just joining us, this is a dog show but for daddies" is Kate McKinnon's dead-on description of the Westminister Daddy Show on the latest episode of SNL. If you aren't entirely sure what a daddy is, "Think George Clooney but achievable." It's more than just aging well though, it's also about having a level of self-assuredness that can only come from having an overblown important job and at least one divorce.

Overseeing the "Best in Show" category are announcers McKinnon and Matt Damon, who introduce specimens like West Palm Golf Daddy and Berkeley Tweedy Daddy. Aidy Bryant with impeccable wig and eyebrows plays Georgina Mont-Blanc, the judge looking for "men over the age of 46 with a little salt and pepper at the temples, some play money to throw around, and a smug smile that says, 'I do sex good.'"

With those qualifications, you're probably wondering why Damon is an announcer instead of being in the ring since he's a prime candidate to be a daddy competitively. Damon, in the end, gets to prance around himself as a last-minute entry for the Broadcast Daddy group. Because as he himself says, "It's not just about, 'Can this daddy get it?' It's about, 'Is this daddy a champion?'"
