Couple's Cross-Country Roadtrip with Their Dogs Is Melting Hearts

The things we do for our fur babies.

TikTok user @megatronliv and her family were moving to Japan for the military, and if anyone’s tried to fly with animals, you know what challenges might come up. The airlines, unfortunately, wouldn’t transport her dog because of the dog’s size. So being the great family they are, they decided to change their plans on how to get to Japan.

The family was living in Florida at the time and the airlines wouldn’t transport the dogs from there. There was no way they were going to leave their dogs behind, so they decided to drive from Florida to Seattle to catch a flight there. Wow, talk about dedication!

Aww! We’re so happy this family was able to bring their dogs in the end, even if it meant driving from literal opposite sides of the country in not-so-great weather conditions. We can’t imagine the headache that went into planning and organizing it, but again, we’re beyond thrilled their fur babies are going to Japan too!

“Thank you for being an amazing human and not leaving fur babies behind,” said @cindylovescheetos. Retweet! We know it seems impossible to leave your dogs behind, but you’d be surprised how often shelters see it happen. “I have a lot of respect for you just doing this,” added @livingingrace1021. Safe to say all of TikTok has respect for this family after this!

We can’t wait to see the dogs' new adventure in Japan. We just know the whole family is going to love it!
