Could DJ Chark be overlooked in fantasy drafts for 2020?

Yahoo Fantasy expert Matt Harmon explains why the Jacksonville Jaguars receiver definitely has fantasy value this year but may be overlooked.

MATT HARMON: I think DJ Chark is a receiver who might go overlooked this year because obviously the Jaguars are going to be one of the worst teams in the league, and they're not necessarily a great offense. But I still think he can provide a lot of fantasy value in 2020.

If you look at what he did last year, he finished wide receiver 16 with just over a thousand yards. Really a surprising player with 118 targets. I don't see any reason that he can't push for that kind of volume again. That's going to make him around the wide-receiver-two level, maybe the back half.

When I looked at a chart for reception perception, he was a guy who finished right above the average in terms of success rate versus man and press coverage, right around like the 68th to 60th percentile in both of those metrics. That shows he's a solid starting NFL receiver. That's nothing to sneeze at.

And where he impressed me the most was in the vertical game, the deep out route, and even some of the intermediate routes like the curl and dig. So I think this is a guy who's plenty capable of being maybe not a number-one receiver traditionally in an NFL offense but a very capable starting guy.

And, I mean, clearly he is the best player in this Jaguars offense. I don't see how you can really question that. And Gardner Minshew is a pretty solid quarterback. I think he's a great fit for new offensive coordinator Jay Gruden's system.

Overall, I like Chark to finish once again somewhere between wide receiver 22 to wide receiver 15, right around what he did last year. The situation just hasn't changed that much. There's going to be plenty of volume in a bad offense.
