Costco is the place to hit when you want to buy some items in bulk or try something totally new. What many shoppers don't realize is just how quality Kirkland Signature brand items are. In fact, some products from Costco that are labeled Kirkland Signature are similar to—if not the exact—formulas of brand-name items. While some of these matches have been confirmed by official Costco statements, others have just been speculated to be similar by Costco fans.

For starters, if you're a Starbucks coffee fan you'll be pleased to know that the Kirkland Signature House Blend Coffee is roasted by Starbucks; the packaging says so itself! That means you can get a similar taste from your Kirkland brew as you do from your local drive-thru, which is a big win if you want to save a couple bucks on your daily beverage. The Costco CEO also once told WSB-TV 2 Kirkland batteries are also manufactured by leading battery brand Duracell.

Other products that are confirmed as being made in the same facilities (or under the same parent companies) as brand-name items include Kirkland Signature water, Kirkland Albacore tuna, and Kirkland diapers. All of these items are respectively either manufactured under the same company as products like Niagara water, Bumble Bee, Huggies, or have been confirmed by previous reports, according to MoneyWise.

There has been speculation about other items, such as the Kirkland Signature shampoo and conditioner being a marked-down version of Pureology's hair products and Kirkland Signature vodka being the same as luxury brand Grey Goose, but these are not completely affirmed at the moment. Either way, you can rest assured that when you shop at Costco because you're getting high quality products even if you're opting for the wholesale club's store brand. In some cases, you're even getting a better bang for your buck than if you were shopping elsewhere.
