Costco's Having a Massive Sale on Huggies Diapers, & You Still Have Time to Stock Up!

Few things can low-key eat into a family’s budget like diapers. We think about those big costs — medical, childcare, toys, and gear — but many of us are completely taken by surprise when we look at our spending on what comes out of those little bundles of joy. Which is why when Costco is offering $9 off of Huggies diapers, we want you to know about that.
Through March 1, you can get $9 off of the Huggies Plus Newborn Kit and Little Snugglers and Little Movers diapers, in sizes 1 through 6. That means a box of 192 size 1 Little Snugglers that is normally $39.99 will be $30.99. A box of 120 Size 6 Little Movers, which is normally $45.99, will be $36.99. Those are fantastic prices compared to other common diaper vendors. Huggies Plus diapers, which promise to be more absorbent than other styles, are available exclusively at Costco. But just for comparison, at Target.com, a box of 168 size 1 Huggies Little Snugglers diapers is $39.99, and on Amazon, a box of 198 is $41.00.

We’d recommend you stock up on these before the sale ends, but there are two caveats to that advice. First, the sale is limited to two boxes per member, while supplies last. And second, it’s so annoying when you buy a bunch of diapers in one size only to realize that your baby has outgrown them halfway through your stash. To that end, we just discovered this handy diaper calculater, DiaperPlanner. You can enter your baby’s weight when they’re born, and it will give you a table of how many diapers they are estimated to use each week for 52 weeks. (For example, it says an 8 lb. newborn will go through 70 size NB diapers a week for the first 6 weeks.) All babies are different from each other, and poop and grow at different rates, but this is a great place to start.
