Costco’s Spiked Eggnog Is Back and Boozier Than Before
Feel that little chill in the air? It can only mean one thing: We’re getting closer to eggnog season.
Well, that’s probably not what it actually means to most people, but it looks like they might change their tune once they realize that Costco’s Kirkland Signature brand take on spiked eggnog is back on store shelves, at least if evidence from @Costco_empties (yet another Costco-loving Instagram account) is to be believed.

While this “traditional holiday Eggnog liqueur” shown up awkwardly early to the holiday party (because who wants to drink eggnog while their AC is still in the window), the good news is that the 2020 edition of this previously spotted Costco liqueur seems to be back with a new and improved formula. Whereas the 2019 edition was described as some sort of “wine cocktail,” this year’s edition of the spiked seasonal beverage boasts that it’s made with “real dairy cream, whisky, spiced rum, brandy, and French Vanilla.” It also weighs in at a slightly boozier 14.75% ABV, compared to last year’s 13.9%. Real alcohol and more of it? Yes please.
Because this is Costco (and a product from their in-house Kirkland Signature brand), the beauty of this eggnog is that you can get a lot of it on the cheap. A 1.75-liter bottle (aka one “handle”) only costs $9.99, meaning you can stockpile a whole bunch of eggnog to help you get through this potentially brutal winter. Just think of yourself as a squirrel gathering nuts, except in this case the nuts are bottles of spiked eggnog.
So, yes. It’s a little early to be drinking eggnog, but make sure this potent costco potable stays on your radar as you start to think about the holiday cocktail season. Santa will certainly thank you.
