Costco Is Selling a Five Pound Pumpkin Cheesecake

Thanksgiving is next week, so we’re just about at the point where you need to start locking in that menu. Stuff happens, though, and sometimes you end up with either more guests or more kitchen chaos than you can handle

Whether you have an army of pilgrims to feed or you feel too overwhelmed with other Thanksgiving duties to bake your own dessert, let Costco come to the rescue with its absolute unit of a pumpkin cheesecake.

According to evidence furnished by Instagram account @TheCostcoConnoisseur, it looks like Costco has a five pound Kirkland Signature Pumpkin Cheesecake back on store shelves. That’s a whole hell of a lot of cheesecake, featuring sixteen slices to ensure that everyone gathered around your table can break off a piece.

And once they do, what they taste will be glorious. Featuring an uber-rich pumpkin cheesecake, wrapped in a sweet graham cracker crust and topped with a spiced sour cream. If the turkey doesn’t make you pass out, this big slice of harvest-time happy pie sure should do the trick.

While this isn’t the first time that Costco has stocked its stores with this delightful piece of Kirkland cuisine, it is making a return after a notable absence. From the sound of it, Costco was focusing on a Harvest Spice Cheesecake last year, which mixed in sweet potato with pumpkin. As someone who still doesn’t get what the hype around sweet potatoes is all about, the decision to stick with that pure, uncut pumpkin cheesecake in 2019 feels like a wise one.

So if you’re sick of plain old pumpkin pie or want to make an impression at dessert time, pay a paltry $14.99 to plop this five pound cheesecake. That’s less than a dollar a slice. If nothing else, that kind of a deal is something to be thankful for.

Here’s what happens to a candidate’s money when they drop out

Mogambo: "According to the Federal Election Commission (FEC), there are several permissible things that a candidate can do with the money they’ve received while fundraising. They can use it for moving expenses, pay campaign staff, purchase gifts of “nominal” value to those who aren’t a member of their family, donate it to charity, move it to a state or local party committee, transfer it to a future campaign, or to a state/local candidate." In other words, they can keep every penny and have numerous loopholes to help move the money around. Got it.
