Beyoncé not only wears the heck out of pizza-print pants, she’s also the queen of dropping hot new songs (and albums) without warning. That’s what she did last night with her latest remix of “Flawless” featuring rapper Nicki Minaj.
Because she’s flawless.
Not sure if you noticed, but so is corn right now. The golden vegetable is queen in August, and this corn salad recipe requires only four other ingredients and a grill to put it on the table tonight. Serve alongside grilled steak for a dinner that’s (yes) flawless.
You didn’t wake up like this, but it only took 30 minutes to get you there.

10 ears corn
4 bunches scallions, trimmed
Extra-virgin olive oil
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
2/3 cup mint leaves, torn if large
Preheat grill to high. Rub corn and scallions with oil; season with salt and pepper. Grill corn, turning, until charred and lightly cooked, about 6 minutes. Let cool, then cut kernels off cobs (5 cups). Grill scallions until charred, about 2 minutes. Cut into 1-inch pieces. Toss corn, scallions, and mint together. Season with salt and pepper.
