Benne seeds are a uniquely nutty heirloom variety of sesame seeds, but standard sesame seeds are a fine substitute if you can’t find them.
Thursday: Slow-Cooker Mediterranean Frittata
Eight ingredients will get you dinner tonight and breakfast tomorrow.
Friday: Spicy Lemon-Ginger Chicken Soup
Make the broth ahead to save some time or add noodles or rice to make the soup more filling.
Saturday: Carrot Pasta
Sorry, potatoes. You’ll have to sit this one out.
Sunday: Baked Chicken and Ricotta Meatballs
Psst: The leftover meatballs will taste great in soup. Just toss them in a pot with broth with herbs, spices and whatever leafy greens you have in your fridge.
