Congratulations! Brian McFadden is getting married for the third time

Brian McFadden is preparing to walk down the aisle for a third time after getting engaged to his PE teacher girlfriend.

The former Westlife singer announced his happy festive news with Danielle Parkinson to fans on Twitter today (December 23), saying he was “very, very happy”.

McFadden sent two low-key tweets sharing his engagement and hasn’t posted any pictures of the ring yet, but his famous pals were lining up to pass on their congratulations.

Piers Morgan, Ola Jordan, Ollie Locke, Naga Munchetty, Ryan Sidebottom, Georgie Bingham and Lee Brennan were all amongst the well-wishers.

PE teacher Parkinson, who works at Matthew Moss High School in Rochdale, thanked many of those tweeting them after they shared their news.

The pair were introduced by singer Cole Paige in 2016 and have been dating since then, with Parkinson often spotted in the audience at Dancing on Ice supporting McFadden who took part in the show in January this year.

Keen sports fan Parkinson used to compete in the heptathlon for Rochdale Harriers as an under 21, and is very different to McFadden’s previous high-profile partners.

He was married to Kerry Katona from 2002 to 2006 although they broke up in 2004, and had two daughters, Molly and Lilly-Sue, with her before they split.

McFadden then spent years living in Australia with his partner Delta Goodrem, the singer and ex-Neighbours star who he was with from 2004 to 2011.

He married Vogue Williams in 2012, but they split in 2017 and she is now married to Spencer Matthews who she has a son with.

Earlier this year, McFadden told Closer magazine: "I don't want to get married now, not right this second. But I don't know, we'll see. Maybe in the future.

"I'd love more kids. I love my two girls, but I'd love to have small kids again now.”
