What Is Gremolata?

Condiments don’t have to be squeezable or spreadable. They can be dry! Sprinkle-able! Think salt, but citrusy and herbaceous.

The condiment in question, gremolata, is made with minced garlic, finely chopped fresh parsley, lemon zest, and bread crumbs (if you want them). The rest of the prep steps go like this:

Place chopped ingredients in bowl. Stick fingers in bowl. Swirl fingers around to mix ingredients.

Then you can throw the stuff on—our favorite thing about it—everything. It adds brightness and texture to veggies and meats and whatever else you want it to. Watch the video above for more.
