A Complete Timeline of Gigi Hadid and Tyler Cameron’s Relationship

This summer’s most talked-about coupling was, without a doubt, Gigi Hadid and Bachelorette star Tyler Cameron. But don’t confuse coupling with couple: The two never officially confirmed anything. In fact, according to multiple reports, they were just hanging out. “Although Gigi and Tyler are spending more and more time together, they are still casually dating," a source told Entertainment Tonight in August. “The two are enjoying building a friendship first, going on dates, and having fun. Nothing more than that right now.”

Hadid and Cameron’s origin story is quite interesting. If you’ll recall, Cameron was Hannah Brown’s first runner-up on this season of The Bachelorette, but after things went awry with the man she actually picked, fans were hoping for the two of them to get together. And they did—sort of—for one night in Los Angeles earlier in the summer. Days later, though, Cameron was spotted in New York City seemingly on a date with Hadid. A media frenzy quickly ensued.

August 4: A date at the Soho/Dumbo House. This is where it all began. Hadid and Cameron were first spotted together hanging out at this exclusive social club in Brooklyn. Fans, naturally, went wild.

August 5: Bowling in New York City. A more casual second date. For this outing, Hadid and Cameron were joined by friends. According to People, the group bowled for a few hours before leaving to do some karaoke.

August 12: An apartment hangout. Paparazzi caught Cameron and Hadid leaving Hadid’s apartment at separate times. “Gigi looked good,” an insider told E! News. “She was casual and seemed very chill. It seems like they are definitely spending more time together and growing close.”

August 13: Another NYC date. The two were photographed together leaving the New York restaurant Le Turtle before going back to Hadid’s apartment, where Cameron reportedly spent the night.

August 15: Upstate. Gigi Hadid and Tyler Cameron’s last public appearance was in upstate New York. According to Page Six, they and two friends were on a road trip of sorts. A fan snapped a photo of the twosome at a Starbucks. See it for yourself here.

August 16: The weekend getaway continues. The pair were photographed buying wine at a local liquor store during their low-key vacation in upstate New York. In photos obtained by the *Daily Mail,* Cameron can be seen carrying out a box of pinot noir as Hadid and her friend followed closely behind.

August 20: Dinner with Serena Williams and friends. Hadid and Cameron were photographed dining out with a group of friends that included the tennis star at La Esquina in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood. “They are seeing each other a lot and texting all day long,” a source told E! News. “He’s excited about her.”

August 22: A car ride in New York City. Hadid was spotted driving in New York City with Cameron in the front seat. Their destination remains unknown, but both were dressed casually for wherever they were headed.

August 26: MTV VMAs after-parties. While there were rumors flying on social media that Hadid was going to bring Cameron as her date to the 2019 MTV VMAs, she ended up walking the red carpet with her sister Bella. But the former Bachelorette contestant did join Hadid at the after-parties, according to Us Weekly.

“Gigi brought him over to Taylor Swift’s section and they chatted,” their source said. “Tyler and Gigi were dancing all night. He had his arms wrapped around her and was kissing the back of her neck. They were inseparable.” They also hung out with Queer Eye’s Jonathan Van Ness and Antoni Porowski. “[Tyler] really seemed to fit in with her friend group,” per the source.

September 8: Zendaya x Tommy Hilfiger fashion show. With New York Fashion Week in full swing, Hadid and Cameron both attended the runway show for Hilfiger’s latest celebrity collaboration, though they walked the red carpet separately. The supermodel (who arrived with her sister Bella) has teamed up with the designer for past collections.

October 3: According to Us Weekly, the two broke up after nearly two months of dating. “Tyler is single,” a source told the publication. “He and Gigi Hadid are no longer together.” Earlier in the week, Cameron hinted on Watch What Happens Live that he “may” be single.

October 26: The relationship may be over, but Hadid and Cameron are on good terms. Cameron told Us Weekly that he’s kept lines of communication open with his ex-girlfriend. When asked if he still talks to Hadid, Cameron said, “When we need to be. We’re friends.”

The reality star also opened up about navigating Hadid’s A-lister lifestyle. “It was just a different world,” he said, adding, “[But] they are no different than anyone else.”
