Community Clean-up Day coming up in Schuyler County

SCHUYLER COUNTY, N.Y. (WETM) — Schuyler County residents are encouraged to come together to clean up their communities in a couple of weeks.

Finger Lakes Gateway Community Development Corporation (FLX CDC) is holding a community clean-up day in Schuyler County on Sunday, May 5. Residents who would like to participate can meet up at the Watkins Glen Village Office, located at 303 N. Franklin St., or the Montour Falls Village Hall, located at 408 W. Main. St., at 7 a.m. If your community isn’t participating, FLX CDC still encourages you to get outside to make your neighborhood more beautiful.

The organization says it focuses its efforts on community-focused activities like beautification efforts, decorating for race season, and clean-up efforts.
