You don't have to give us an excuse to visit Dairy Queen. But the return of the limited-time Pumpkin Pie Blizzard later this month is a good reminder to mark our calendars.
The soft serve treat—which has been a fan-favorite for more than 25 years—returns to participating Dairy Queen locations across the country on Monday, August 26th. The dessert is a delightful whirl of DQ's vanilla soft serve with pieces of pumpkin pie, whipped cream, and a dusting of nutmeg. Each Blizzard is made to order and "[they] are so thick that they’re served upside down or the next one’s free, at participating locations," as a company spokesperson told us. Call ahead to ensure your go-to DQ outpost will be serving them.
